About GLAU007: The first release on Glack Audio Recordings in 2009 is the V.E.R.S EP by a Dutch newcomer Teun Verstraaten a.k.a. Bennie Project. Teun started off with drum&bass cuts (under the alterego of Brutal) then he got into breakbeat as well so it doesn't come as a suprise that this 4 track EP features some various unique sounds. If you're into raw and energetic breakbeats then you'll like the title track 'V.E.R.S' and the moodier 'Fleshwound'. If you prefer the vocally 4/4 business then Zora's Domain may be your cup of tea and as an added bonus there is an exclusive remix from the label bosses, The Peepshow Ownerz, it is actually their debut release on their own label so check it out! If you like what you hear from Bennie Project you can watch out for his forthcoming remix on Flextone Recodings and his forthcoming own work on Bombtraxx! This has a pretty wide appeal - great tune. Very different from the first two. Zora Remix - similar to original which is great, just takes it a little deeper and is more aimed at the floor. top remix of a top tune. cheers for keeping the vocal hook :D both Zora tunes are top notch and can be used in slightly different sets." |
